Emeryville - Reno - Emeryville, January 15th - 17th Emeryville– Reno – Emeryville, February 12th-14th Come, join us aboard the Virginia City, Royal Gorge, and Plaza Santa Fe for a peaceful trip through the Sierra Nevada mountains. This annual trip has become so popular that we are offering two Snowflake adventures for the coming New Year 2010, aboard the Virginia City . Step aboard the opulent private rail car and experience all the romance and nostalgia of a bygone era, that is sure to provide you with spectacular scenery, fine food, warm and friendly staff to pamper you, so you can relax and have fun in an elegant atmosphere. We invite our special passengers who join us every year to do so again in 2010, and we also invite those who have not traveled with us before, to join us for the time of your life, as we make our way through the Sierra Nevada Mountains to Reno, Nevada. On Saturday, January 16th we will provide a special excursion to tour Virginia City followed by a cocktail reception at Lucius Beebe & Charles Cleggs home hosted by the current owners Roy & Susan Richey (additional price and information for this event will follow shortly). PLEASE BOOK YOUR TRIP NOW! The cost for round trip fare per person is $439.00, and includes round-trip transportation, elegant gourmet meals, sumptuous hors d’ oeuvres, beverages and cocktail service. For those who choose the Gold Package we will be staying at the Siena Hotel in Reno this year sienareno.com. However, it does exclude gratuity, and is due by December 15th for the January trip and January 13th for the February trip. This fare is non-refundable after this date. Although, fares will be refunded in full should the trip be cancelled due to insufficient bookings. You can pay using Paypal, including credit card payments via our website @ www.vcrail.com We will depart Emeryville , California on Friday, January 15th and February 12th, and arrive in Reno , Nevada that afternoon. A shuttle will take everyone to their hotel either in Sparks . There will be no detraining or boarding at Sparks . All detraining and boarding will occur at the Reno Amtrak Station only! We will depart Reno , Nevada on Sunday, January 17th or February 14th, at approximately 9:30 a.m. and arrive in Emeryville , California about 7:00 p.m. Please plan on being at both Amtrak Stations at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
