Grand Prize Winner 1 $200 Prize

This winning image was capture by Linton Moss on November 3, 2007 at the Kentucky Railway Museum. The image shows Paul Denny, a retired L&N railroader now in his 80's piloting the Museum's Monon EMD BL-2 on an excursion train. Mr. Denny began his railroad career in engine service in 1942 and then took a break to serve in the military between 1944 and 1946. He left the railroad in the 1970's and has been volunteering at the museum since. The photo was taken on a Nikon D40 with a Nikkor 18-55 lens.

This image was captured by Trainorders user "jackpot" in 2006 on the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad. The photo shows steam locomotive 488 taking on water at Antonito, Colorado during a photo freight excursion hosted by Trains Unlimited Tours. This image was captured using a Canon Digital Rebel 300D. The members name is being kept private by request as he is employed in the railroad transportation industry.
