I was at Centennial Yard in Ft Worth yesterday morning, hoping to see the UP 1982 and UP 1988. They were rumored to still be in town. They were hiding back on a diesel facility track, and I got a tight shot from the road (Photo 1) and drove back out to the street.

A hostler then started moving the engines around, but the view was blocked by a departing train and a switch move.

After the train departed and the switch move shoved back in the yard (Photos 2 & 3), for just a moment they were out in the open. Photos 4 & 5.

Once in a great while, patience is rewarded.

Quite a lashup. According to Railspot List, the power was going out on the MFWWT-11, going north on the Duncan Sub.

Just as soon as they were out in the open, another train was departing and blocked the view again.

I had to go to work and couldn't follow them north.

Kewl...the SP heritage..oh wait...never mind....lol
