Western Railroad Discussion > Possible times for this weekend's BNSF Xmas special onDate: 12/02/05 11:18 Possible times for this weekend's BNSF Xmas special on Author: PasadenaSub No guarantees at all as to what the plans are this year, but as a reference - here's the times that I recorded for last year's BNSF Christmas Special that ran between Duarte and Rancho Cucamonga, CA on December 5, 2004.
9:20am - OS Azusa (at old depot) westbound train from San Bernardino 9:30am - arr. Duarte 10:30am - dep. Duarte EB 10:55am - OS Claremont EB 11:50am - OS Glendora WB 12:00pm - arr. Duarte 1:30pm - OS Glendora EB with train returning to San Bernardino Looks like we might actually have a sunny day this year. The past 2 times the train ran were on rainy days. I thought someone had mentioned that this year it was not running on the Pasadena Sub. Instead, going from San Bernardino to Barstow and retunr. Any one else know?? Thanks Date: 12/02/05 12:51 Re: Possible times for this weekend's BNSF Xmas special Author: PasadenaSub rms492 Wrote:

I think there are two City of Hopes that they like to provide service for. That previous heads-up post mentioned the train in Victorville this coming Monday. I would look for the Duarte special on Sunday, as usual. Rich Date: 12/02/05 13:24 Re: Possible times for this weekend's BNSF Xmas special Author: X-2000R Which day?

Date: 12/02/05 15:41 Re: HoHoHow about good weather Author: PasadenaSub Should be Sunday. I think they've done it on Sundays in the past, since there aren't as many Metrolink trains to contend with between Claremont and Rancho Cucamonga compared to Saturdays.
