Due eastbound out of Clinton,IA this afternoon on MCLPR.

Can't believe it hasn't been mentioned here at TO that it's in been Clinton, IA since yesterday morning.

I believe it is on its way to Franklin Park Railroad Daze in Franklin Park, IL. I had a flyer for the celebration which features music, food and railroad displays. I believe that the Railroad Daze celebration is this Friday and Saturday May 19-20.

I watched it strole into town (Clinton IA) yesterday on the PRCL. I thought it had continued West as I didn't see it in the yard later on in the day. I figured if it wasn't mentioned already by the time I got home it wasn't a big deal? Oops!

Also yesterday afternoon the UP 3300 United Way unit lead a manifest train East. Looked to have come from Des Moines or Cedar Rapids from the cars (lots of John Deere loads and corn syrup).

Here's the 1982 at Sterling,IL on MCLPR about an hour ago. The sun tried to come out through the rain clouds as it went by!!!

3300 was on MEAPR. They make a large pick up at Beverly, so that is where the Deere equipment comes from.
