The last two CNW's have once again been coupled up with UP 1995. The three units are currently headed west on M-PRCB.

Here they are in Sterling,IL at 5:15 PM CDT.

I also caught MPRCB this afternoon. I missed them here in DeKalb by this coal chute, so I had to run west to get 'em. Thankfully I ran west out of the rain and the sun popped out at Nelson and actually turned out into a nice evening compared to the tornado seen back towards home.

1. Pacing just west of Franklin Grove, IL on IL-38.
2. Heading west from a stop at Harmon Rd, Nelson, IL.
3. The classic coal chute at Nelson, IL.

That last picture is as God had intended. I think the CNW. MKT and DRGW units are really outstanding tributes. I wished they'd get the DRGW unit with some DRGW power too.

Before that, maybe we can just get the thing to turn a wheel when it ISN'T night out?

I too was able to get it at Union Grove, IL just before the sun ducked into clouds on the horizon. Good thing as it was held in the shadows just west of here at Millard Road, behind three freights and an open Mississippi River Bridge. The train didn't get into Clinton until dark, much to the dismay of the Godfather who waited for it out in the Iowa void west of DeWitt!
