Date: 11/27/06 23:43 Re: UP 4141 in Las Vegas tonight Author: espeeboy great night stuff Bob! Photo #2 with the notch-nose buddy is a doozie. It needs to be Photo of the Day!
Good to finally see some variety coming to L.A. They'll have both the SP Heritage Unit and Bushie #4141 in the same week! No news on where the 4141 goes next? Date: 11/28/06 05:26 Re: UP 4141 in Las Vegas - Great Photo! Author: cozephyr Sweet catch and nice prompt posting. UP 4141 was at Cheyenne, WY, Sunday November 26th between 11:00 PM and midnight. No one was ready for its arrival that late.

Great shots, as always! Thanks Art in DC Date: 11/28/06 14:52 Re: UP 4141 in Las Vegas tonight Author: sdrake Really like the second shot.
Date: 11/28/06 17:05 Re: UP 4141 in Las Vegas tonight Author: ProAmtrak love the last shot with a regular SD70M and 4141 side by side, can't get a night shot better than that!
Date: 11/28/06 19:30 Re: UP 4141 in Las Vegas tonight Author: dlpearce74 On some videos of UP steamers on the net, I have heard in the video, what I believe to be a diesel engine running in that first yellow car behind the locomotive (or in similar yellow cars, truthfully, I didn't note number/id etc.).
Is that "car" a full B-unit, a HEP generator, or none of the above? Thanks! Date: 11/28/06 20:50 Re: UP 4141 in Las Vegas tonight Author: RustyRayls That's the head end power. Freight locomotives don't have HEP so they have to use a power car.
