Western Railroad Discussion > UP 4141 has arrived ICTF (SoCal)

It passed me at Del Amo at 0929, and was into ICTF at approx. 0940. Thankfully a few switches needed alignment near Carson Street, necessitating a full workout for my motor drive!

Special thanks to Carl LaFong for the phone call. I was ready to pack it in when the call came saying it was on The Alameda Corridor.

Special went by E. Redondo over the L.A. River at 8:37A so in "The Trench" at 8:39A - must have been crowded down there underground...

...anyone know where in the Ports this Special guy is?

Here are my shots of the train. first coming off of the corridor onto Dominguez Yard track 901, then next to Alameda St. And last going into ICTF track 801. Got about 80 shots in all.

We have a meeting every Tuesday at 9:30, so I couldn't get away from work to play today. Wah.
