Western Railroad Discussion > Union Pacific-opoly: a new board gameDate: 08/07/07 23:53 Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: stash Just arrived, my new board game: Union Pacific-opoly! This could be the most fun since Dispatcher. Available from numerous outlets including the Union Pacific Store. Here's photo of the box atop a UP bath towel. Oh yes, fully licensed and approved by UPRR.
I'll see how the game goes when I have time. You can play the full version or a one-hour short version. To quote SPLoopConductor: "Take Care, Stay Safe, Have Fun!" -- with my emphasis on the latter. Date: 08/08/07 00:18 Re: Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: Jaanfo oooooooookaaayy....
I guess it makes sense? Take care, stay safe, and have fun! Date: 08/08/07 00:18 Re: Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: graybeard1942 Available from Amazon.com for $20.00. Sold by 'Grim Reapers'....must be reference to Uncle Pete's creation of so many fallen flags.

I have the game. It represents the fallen flags. Haven't played it in a while, haven't had the time to sit down and play it. Thanks dad for the gift though! However, Chance Card-You delayed Amtrak for 4 hours: Collect $200! Date: 08/08/07 01:07 Re: Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: TCnR Must be what all that trademark crap was about.

Ryan Date: 08/08/07 09:38 Re: Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: UPNW2-1083 What's the object of the game, to fill all the sidings with dead trains and bring the railroad to a standstill? Ooh wait, that's not a game, that's the real railroad!-BMT

Date: 08/08/07 15:26 Re: Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: toledopatch Let me guess: "Amtrak" is on what would be the "Free Parking" corner on regular Monopoly, while "Go to Jail" becomes "FRA Inspector" with "Bad Ordered" on the opposite corner.

Date: 08/09/07 14:03 Re: Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: RuleG I like the idea of an all railroad monopoly game in light of the fact that the latest version of Monopoly for generalists has all four railroads (Reading, B & O, PRR and Short Line) taken out.
Dave Date: 08/09/07 14:56 Re: Union Pacific-opoly: a new board game Author: Nictd1000 The only different is all four roads on this game are " WP, MP, MKT and UP" Everytime you land on it you pay 10% for using a railroad-owned square.
