Western Railroad Discussion > UP Business Car RunDate: 10/11/08 16:57 UP Business Car Run Author: NightCoast Went out to shoot some photos of various signals in the ABS section of the Omaha Sub and ran across this hot shot. Call me biased, but UP has the finest looking business car fleet in the country.

The tie breaker: UP's locomotives mirror the colors of its passenger equipment, and NS's do not. Date: 10/11/08 17:53 Re: UP Business Car Run Author: sooman1 Another tie breaker..

bob Date: 10/11/08 18:51 Re: UP Business Car Run Author: WrongWayMurphy You obviously haven't see KCS's pax train.
Now that is one classy train. Date: 10/11/08 20:24 Re: UP Business Car Run Author: nikon1 The BNSF can still run a classy business train. They just need to get rid of the 4 former SP commuter cars.

Axy Date: 10/11/08 20:35 Re: UP Business Car Run Author: aehouse CSX HAD a classy looking business train, reminiscent of the old B&O blue and gray color scheme, but in my opinion loused it up when they went to the all blue with gray roofs. I also loved the BN's executive fleet when it was painted in Cascade Green with the white window stripe and black roofs. The later BN cream and brunswick scheme with red pin striping and enormous car name lettering was, IMHO, an abomination.
