KCS SD22ECOs part 2

The two KCSM SD22ECO's are still parked at the KCS Knoche Yard engine facility as of this morning. 2651 was idling, sounded like it still has its turbo charged engine in it, not like some of the other 'hybrid' sounding locos. I'll go back tonight and snap some more shots when the sun is better.

Yeah, now there's a flimsy cord on there and a coaxial cable to screw up and short out. I've had it happen to me.

I prefer the real bells as well.
These E Balls. just dont sound right to me.

Is the 2650 the "Class Unit"?

If so, Mr. Haverty is paying respect to the Santa Fe once again, as the number "2650", was the "Class" GP7 on this "Fallen Flag".

I see these units wear the KCS "Stop Sign" logo on the nose, instead of the putrid "KCS inside a rectangle" found on the other Belles.

I hope this becomes the standard. Snazzy looking lokes.
