Western Railroad Discussion > KCS SD22ECOs part 2Date: 06/21/09 08:10 KCS SD22ECOs part 2 Author: sp8192 The two KCSM SD22ECO's are still parked at the KCS Knoche Yard engine facility as of this morning. 2651 was idling, sounded like it still has its turbo charged engine in it, not like some of the other 'hybrid' sounding locos. I'll go back tonight and snap some more shots when the sun is better.

If so, Mr. Haverty is paying respect to the Santa Fe once again, as the number "2650", was the "Class" GP7 on this "Fallen Flag". Just my observation. Bob ATSF100WEST......Out Date: 06/21/09 18:35 Re: KCS SD22ECOs part 2 Author: jackpot I see these units wear the KCS "Stop Sign" logo on the nose, instead of the putrid "KCS inside a rectangle" found on the other Belles.
I hope this becomes the standard. Snazzy looking lokes. Date: 06/24/09 16:20 Re: KCS SD22ECOs part 2 Author: MrOGDEN Been studying NSs SD40-Es, now they have class, a real bell!
