San Timoteo Canyon, that less famous western slope of Beaumont Pass, has lost its SP feel, from the classic cantilever signal bridges to the locations of the crossovers—all of it. But setting all that aside, it is still a place where one can find UP traffic as illustrated by this eastbound doublestack at MP 555 and westbound autos descending the canyon between El Casco and Ordway.
