DM&E's 171 train gave eastern Iowa railfans a treat today with a SOO SD60 leader, and CP Gevo second out. I like SD40-2s as much as the next person, but it's nice to see some variety too.

Photos: 171 heads east past Fairport State Park east of Muscatine, Iowa, and, for a guy who likes tank cars, this one was a real bonus!
