Museum at Cashmere, WA
Author: BrianA

Last Saturday I drove to Wenatchee, WA stopping at Cashmere first and checked out the museum in town. First time I have stopped to see what was here. There are a few GN things to see such as the caboose built in 1922 and the Mission depot. I did not know that Cashmere was originally called Mission and in the early 1900's the name changed to Cashmere. The semaphore looks to be NP to me rather than GN. Anyone know anything about the passenger car? I can't find anything online about it at all. I understand it is former Great Northern.

The Blog report with photos can be found here:

The museum is worth checking out if ever passing through Cashmere.

Thanks for posting you pictures. I was born in Cashmere and raised in Leavenworth. Have been to the museum twice and it was closed. Swede GN X838
