Western Railroad Discussion > Heber Valley Railroad and the G&WDate: 04/02/11 06:47 Heber Valley Railroad and the G&W Author: kklarr Here is the real story about why the caboose at the Heber Valley Railroad is painted in the Genesee & Wyoming colors. HVRR and the G&W worked out a deal to trade one of HVRR's caboose a ex-Mopac painted for the Buffalo & Pittsburgh and in return the HVRR would get a Utah Railway snow spreader and a Utah Railway caboose to be restored as Utah Railway which is owned by the G&W.

Con Date: 04/02/11 07:15 Re: Heber Valley Railroad and the G&W Author: kklarr They will need to truck everything there is no rail connections to Heber, the plans are to take the B&P caboose to Martin and bring back the Utah Railway equipment at the same time, I'm sure it will take two trips for the Utah Railway equipment.
