It's the 3rd Military train to Yearmo in a 7 train series. You saw the SPTYR 22 which departed today. In order from bottom to top:

If you happen to know what unit #'s for this train are I'd appreciate it! If the times worked out I'd make the jog over to the UP tracks to see it, if it hasn't gone by yet.

Well the UP 5382 (SPTYR 22) is still in the yard. Sounds like they are missing the car paperwork and can't find a copy of all the paper work. I'm at Oregon City waiting for him now.

still sitting quietly at johnson creek. i wouldn't expect any movement until after #11 passes at the earliest....and possibly #14, depending on how well they're running today.

At 1 pm today, a southbound UP train of nothing but empty DODX 3-axle flats sat on the main near the crew change point in West Oakland, heading south. Looked to be about 30-40 flat cars long. 2 SD-70's (non-ACe) on the head end. Is it headed down the Coast line??

Military move was through Albany, OR at 5:35 pm.

SPTYR 22 has the UP 5832 as power. Crew had a discussion with Disp 1 to change from UP 6824 to UP 5832. Computer shows it arriving in Eugene for crew change a little after six-o'clock pm today.

The computer is notorious for having the power consist backwards. Crew merely needs DS to approve unit number change. 5832 is definately the leader.
