Ex-PRR Keystone Power Car on BNSF STLTUL

Heads up from St. Louis west, the former HEP Power Car built by Budd in 1956 for the PRR Keystone train will be the head car on the STLTUL-30, albiet riding on a flatcar and not its own wheels.

Wheels are Junk, Cedar River Railroad had that train set and no one had wheels for it. Watched it derail one time switching the set of cars, the flanges are so sharp it is damn near impossible to get threw a switch!

Maybe a museum will try to get at least part of this train back together.
It was very unique, and akin to the X-plorer, Aerotrain, and Roger Williams Budd cars....
i.e. New ideas in Passenger railroading from the late 50's/early 60's.

I rode it once in the 1960's..
