I been hearing a rumor that the former CNW F Units that were stored @ Cheyenne are or will be getting moved elsewhere. Does anyone have any further information to validate or squash that rumor? Thanx for any input.

think there is just an a and a b unit left in chian, 403, 402 at CCRG others are out and about, search here and elsewhere should dig up some info.

There's only one CNW A unit left in Cheyenne. The B unit that Dan is thinking of is ex-DRGW.

The CNW A unit,in Cheyenne, is the 401. Photo was taken during a tour of the steam shop in July 2009.

This what they should do , then put here back in service to Michigan's upper peninsula so they have some train service . Yeah Im old but its a disgrace today between what they and Wisconsin and Minn had then and what they have now
