Where did BNSF's Inspection trains go after WQCY?
Author: MarcelineSub

Anyone know if the "mega" inspection train that was split in two at West Quincy, Mo has left yet? Haven't seen any updates in either threads.

you sure it was the Kootenai River?
Guessing it may have been the 85, which is ex-ATSF 39.

I think the Kootenai still carries its name. It has also been changed to 4-wheel trucks.
The 85 is part of a track measurement train; the Kootenai is more like an old
dyamometer car
