According to company lore, a man drive in front of a locomotive running long hood forward with the headlight, but not the oscillating white "Gyralight" on. A Wilcox attorney sued on behalf of the widow claiming negligence and won several million dollars. Now that Wilcox had a rich widow he then married her. A warm, fuzzy happy ending. But I can't look at the place without thinking of that history.
