Said to be under investigation. Being two railroads at an interlocker the invest. will probably go deep. But the box cameras will help alot too

Looks like somebody needs to do a little GCOR reviewing around rule 9.12ish. Hope they're OK. I spent a little time shooting on this very subdivision this morning.

Picture is from a news outlet down there.

Hope all the crews the best. Is the KCS running trains today or are they shut down? I'm on vacation and was hoping to see then in Sallisaw, OK today.

They will probably hold them all back till they are able to run. I dont know of anywhere they would detour. You should see some parked in the area. And of course the usual UP crowd

So it sounds like a KCS northbound mixed freight ran into the side of a nb BNSF coal empty at the diamond where the BNSF KC-Springfield, MO main crosses the KCS KC-Shreveport main. BNSF can detour Springfield-Afton, OK-Fort Scott, KS, but KCS is stuck until the line is cleared.
