Western Railroad Discussion > Middle River - BNSF Stockton Sub

Here are a few shots taken maybe 2 months ago along the Middle River span between Orwood and Trull on BNSF's Stockton Sub. west of Stockton Calif. Last time I had visited this location was maybe 10 years ago; revisiting it was just about identical to how I remembered it which was kinda cool. Ok, maybe plant life had grown in a bit, but still the setup/location was just as easy and accessable as it always was.

Photo 1) A westbound M-BARRIC chasing the sun
Photo 2) Some AMTK train, there always seemed to be something following behind it which was kinda cool.
Photo 3) BNSF seems to be running 1-2 eastbound baretables a day out of Oakland Intl. Gateway, a good number are destined for Seattle but some are also rolling towards San Bernardino as well as L.A.

P.S. Sorry the pictures look a bit yellow, for whatever reason when I process them on my computer they look fine, but as soon as I upload them they get yellow and weird. Oh well, not the worst problem in the world.

Nice shootin, Ted my man! I really like the perspective and light in the first one - in all the times I've been to Middle River I've not thought to see things from that angle.
