A HLCX unit on the "Marblehead"

Last Wednesday (Oct 31) I went out and spent the day photographing HLCX 1064, ex UP 1064, 2564, built new as MKT 223 on Union Pacific's Marblehead turn, the LUE 52-31. Here it is on the Rowley branch on the former Western Pacific with UP 1624 / UP 1649. The last time I seen a GP on this local was back in 1997, UP 2513.
