I found a scan of a snapshot of SP F units at WJ, painted one of the two acceptable color schemes. My notes say "Fall of 71".
Little did I know at the time I would see the 6454 several more times leading Amtrak's Starlight in the late 70s. Just another F unit then, what was a "find" was to see some Black Widows now and then.
