U.P. Potash Branch damage

Union Pacific's Potash Branch in Southern Utah had some major damage after some rocks rolled down onto the rails.

when you see a rail break like that. you know there was a lot of pressure when the rocks hit to break that rail in 1/2

The picture online of the 6 ft crater in the paved road nearby, and seeing a rail break like that, those rocks must be very dense/heavy.

Ordinary sandstone. BUT big chunks and fell a ways, lots of kinetic energy there!
