In The Hole @ Plateville, CO
Author: mojaveflyer

I was out trying a new accessory for my camera when I heard the UP Laramie DS tell Local #3 he would head in at Platteville to let a coal load destined to the Drake Power Plant in Colorado Springs run around him. It was cloudy but a grab shot sometimes jumps out at you... This is on the UP Greeley Sub north of Denver.

Thanks for looking!

Good job! I've been in BOTH cabs several times in my career. It's more fun on the left... unless you are on the right waiting to be picked up by the dog catch van.
Then you usually beat the 'running-around' crew in to your terminal anyhow...

The guys on the ground are from the local, waiting to do a roll by inspection of the coal load...
