Alittle Blue and Yellow in the Morning
Author: rrartist

CP train #270 has had it's share of stellar consists so far this Thanksgiving Holiday weekend and today was no exception! DME #6056 leads a trio of ICE/DME/CP SD40 types through the curves south of Weaver MN. #270 meets CP H-19 at Homer, you can tell he didn't take the siding as the sounds were awesome! And lastly, #270 rolls through the small river town of Dresbach MN on a sunny, but very cold Saturday morning.

Nice!. Wonder if the bit of exposed bluff in the last shot would be a good spot to shoot from?

Looking around on the maps, I found what I think is a possible photo location with lots of potential. It's the same location as your last photo. Simply walk through a little bit of forest to the cliff above the freeway and shoot a late day southbound train.

Looks good . . . BUT . . .

it also looks like private property. Further, I'm not
too sure of the safety there, as the foliage is right up
to the "cliff" and no guard rails. In the summer, I'm
not sure you could get a shot there for the leaves.

Just my 2 cents worth.
