Western Railroad Discussion > Herzog Ballast Train in RosevilleDate: 11/26/12 17:40 Herzog Ballast Train in Roseville Author: sd60m I spotted on the Rock Pile tracks around 1600 today...missed the unit numbers...but it almost looked like a "unit train" with Herzog ballast cars in the 99xx series.
I did get HRZG 9941 as one of the cars. Where's it headed?? Are they laying ballast on the high speed rail project yet?? Date: 11/26/12 17:55 Re: Herzog Ballast Train in Roseville Author: SP8100 I saw this train when it was traveling down the UP Brooklyn Sub between Portland Oregon and Eugene Oregon.. The leader was UP 7501 with 2 SD70M's and an UP SD70ACE. It did have the CP 8888 and the UP 7756.. I have heard that the CP 8888 was added to the M-RVHK-25. I'm not sure the UP 7756 was added to the H-RVHK too..
