The BNSF shows which track gangs are working and where each work on its Customer Notification page. There are no concrete tie projects shown, so it appears that the TRT 909 isn't currently operating. I have no idea about the UP machine.

Didn't Frailey say in his Willow Springs piece in
Decenber TRAINS that BNSF shut down major trackwork
in December? I seem to remember that.

Yes, Nick that is very true, I didn't think about that, UP probably does the same thing.
