Couch potato railfanning
Author: pdt

The latest dumb thing I've been doing is sitting and watching live action from the Truckee Chamber of Commerce cam, while
also watching television. I only need 1/2 a brain to watch the boob tube, and 1/8th of a brain to watch downtown Truckee, so I still have brain left over. Maybe I should read the paper at the same time, too.

So, I've become mesmerized by the live cam action.
It's like I'm sitting in a 3rd floor hotel room in downtown Truckee, and watching the traffic and goings on, and hoping for a train to come by. It's just as interesting and boring as being there in person.

No trains so far. Other than Amtk 5 & 6, any time when truckee tends to have freights?
