Derailment at Marcel

Another Oops... just learned that another derailment occurred at Marcel. BNSF locomotive ran into the rear of a UP... at this time, this is just heresay (from a RR employee). When I have more news, I'll post. I'm hoping no one was injured, but we watched Gemco trucks/equipment heading West on Hwy. 58 just moments before we received the phone call.

I know they were fleeting trains last week in the early hours to get them through due to the work windows they have been having during the days. It was crazy before 8 am, lots of traffic. I wonder if that could have had anything to do with it?

What the hell's going on up there! Didn't have it this bad when Santa Fe and SP ran the place!
