RU CT: San Jose to San Francisco- 08/27/13
RED CONSIST: 59 Cars = 4 Stocks, 34 Coaches, 2 COFC, 19 Flats. (Total 252 axles less power)

REMINDER: RBBB Rail Transportation Routings (RTR’s) and Times are made in advance and Subject to Change (STC) without notice as the host railroad(s) require. ROUTINGS AND TIMES ARE UNPREDICTABLE, a lot can change during departure, although the CT’s are to run ahead of schedule if the host RR’s can accommodate. Crew Changes, Service Stops and Consist Rearrangement can occur anywhere or anytime along the route at the discretion of the operating/transportation officials.

“The Network” will try to provide the “Projected Routing” (NPR) when and as data is received. What we have received, as of this Post Time, from our West Coast CT followers indicates the move is being considered as an Over-The-Road (OTR) move to San Francisco via private carrier. Highway 101 currently appears to be the tentative routing. We will definitely need those field reports for conformation. As we know all is subject to change.
NOTE: In “2011” the Coaches were stored at East Oakland Yard and the rest of the train (Flats, COFC’s, and Stocks) went over to the old Visitation Lead, visible from the Tunnel Avenue overpass.

Looking forward to info from field reports on this move.
Enjoy. All for now. bcd9 ∑:=)

I "love" looking for "unnecessary" quotation marks! In "2011", "The Network"...what awful quotation mark abuse!!!!

I went by Milpitas this morning and the circus train -- passenger cars and flats -- are all still parked there.

Meanwhile, the circus has departed from the SJ Arena, so apparently the highway move to the Cow Palace took place overnight.

Sounds like all the animals took Samtrans to the Cow Palace, leaving their train behind.

Went by the UP East Oakland yard this afternoon. The tracks where they usually park the circus train coaches are still empty of freight cars. Still expecting some of them to show back up.
