Export Ore
Author: MacBeau

Whilst lurking on Cajon Pass at Sullivan's Curve today around lunch time, a westbound full of the black earth from Iron Mountain, Utah descended behind two very acceptable GE's. And yes, there were two not quite as acceptable GE's hanging on to the back end in classic 2x2 formation as well. Anybody know the frequency of these moves?

Wow! Except for the patch jobs, this is a blast to the past!

Interesting that the patched units have the latest antenna set up on the roof. For a while they were not used as leaders, but they seem to be fully qualified now.

Those SP GE's look rough, but I like it. Toasted, too, around the stacks. Such eccentric beasts, GE's are.

Ask again in 10 days. ;^)

Nice catch. I think that's the train we used to see up here going to the ports of Stockton and Richmond. You stole our train AND our patch jobs!!!
