BNSF Stockton Subdivision-Orwood, California
Author: z-trains

Whenever I happen upon BNSF's Stockton Subdivision in Northern California, I find myself always going to the bridge at Orwood, California, East of Knightsen between Antioch and Stockton. The tracks cross a number of rivers and canals in this area, and the bridge at Orwood crosses over the Old River. The area is not very great for high-density railroading, but the scenery and beauty of the area make it worth it. In this scene, taken last Saturday, a Westbound BNSF auto rack crosses the bridge with a CREX ES44AC, NS C40-9W, and a BNSF C40-8W in the lead. The full video is on my YouTube page, Railfanjunction.

Cheers,

Zach
