This clip features three trains at Woodford, CA along UP's Mojave Sub in the Tehachapi Mts. early in the morning. Northbound trains were being fleeted and this clip features the last two BNSF northbounds of the fleet. I was robbed on the first train of this clip with BNSF 796 being an H3 re-paint!

The clip concludes with a heavy southbound BNSF manifest departing out of the siding.

Highway robbery for sure in that first scene :-) Great documentation of the morning action on the mountain, Tom. Great to see the warbonnets and Santa Fe GP60 as well.

Amazing the headend crew didn't hear or feel that handbrake tied down on that 1st car. Or nobody rolling the train bye didn't tell them.

Nice video Tom, loved that Manifest coming out of Woodford with a Geep trailing and probably making the most noise!

nice video ... i haven't seen that many boxcars on a train in decades ... wine, beer ... both ???
