Western Railroad Discussion > The Williams Jct. AZ SagDate: 04/14/14 23:47 The Williams Jct. AZ Sag Author: zchcsse This clip features two trains a couple of miles east of Williams Junction, AZ along BNSF's Seligman Sub early in the morning. This was my first time visiting this locale and I wished I could have stayed longer, but it was not to be.
Anyway, this clip features an eastbound manifest dropping down then climbing back up a deep sag. The signal lights popped on before the train entered the block, so I knew it was now a race to get this eastbound out of the way of a close-by westbound. Luckily, it barely did, revealing a CSX-led manifest. Thanks for watching! -Tom You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! Date: 04/15/14 00:24 Re: The Williams Jct. AZ Sag Author: Torisgod Nice video! I can hardly believe that's Arizona with all the greenery! The sudden appearance of the other train at the end reminds me of the signs that are on double-track railroad crossings in France: "UN TRAIN PEUT CACHER UN AUTRE"..."One train can hide another". That is an instance in which it would make sense!
