Western Railroad Discussion > Pennsy in ColoradoDate: 04/19/14 18:22 Pennsy in Colorado Author: SP8595 Well after working a LONG overnight shift last night, getting only 3 hours of sleep and then involved with a real "dog-fight" chasing the NS 8102 this afternoon, I only have enough energy to share just this one shot:}
I was rubbing shoulders with TO member "highgreengraphics" at many locations, so I will defer the full report to him. I am looking forward to that report Mr. HGG! Anyway, I will post this shot taken at a spot that only I and TO member "cozephyr" were at so as to not step on HGG's pending report. NS 8102 along with BNSF 4877 and 4148 pull North out of Monument siding at Wood spur with empty Oil train U BNTCHE0-01 under dark skies that made for a very difficult day. A big thanks to "SD45X" for all of his help on this move! Date: 04/19/14 18:30 Re: Pennsy in Colorado Author: miralomarail That's a Great Photo you got

Brian Stevens Date: 04/19/14 21:41 Re: Pennsy in Colorado Author: 3rdswitch Great spot and catch. Here is what the gathering of the fans at the Palmer Lake knob in anticipation of the emminant arrival of the Pennsy unit taken from my deck here in Palmer Lake looked like since I had company I did not pursue. You never know who is watching when you enter the neighborhood ;-)
JB Date: 04/19/14 22:13 Re: Pennsy in Colorado Author: wesleygreer Great shot! I managed to nab it in Castle Rock, but mine didn't turn out even close to as well as yours did.
Date: 04/19/14 22:20 Re: Pennsy in Colorado Author: SD45X Finally some pics:)
