Western Railroad Discussion > Couple of new UP heavys on Cajon and Mojave Sub'sDate: 04/19/14 19:41 Couple of new UP heavys on Cajon and Mojave Sub's Author: DRGW This afternoon UP ran 2 trains with new 8100 series ES45AH's down Cajon Pass. First up was train MRVCWX with 8128 leading, which we shot at Canyon on the Mojave Sub. Knowing there was another leading a westbound intermodal that had departed Yermo we headed up to Oro Grande and waited shooting a few other trains till 8142 west showed up.
1. 8128 at Canyon on the Mojave Sub (Palmdale Cutoff) 2. 8142 at Oro Grande 3. I believe the term came from a wise old man from Northern California. He used to repeat "P-light" over and over, and no one could understand what he meant. It either means perfect or pathetic, but maybe the wise old man can tell us himself, he is on trainorders! FCP901 |
