First time using exposure.
Author: upheritage6

Last night the NS 8102 pennsylvania was parked down at oxford street. Seeming it was night time i decided to use exposure. Could have been better. It was indeed on point and rubbed shoulders with good ol' cozephyr. I was feeling sick with a headache sore throst and runny nose. But in other words i am happy with my shots.
1) BNSF Autorack and NS 8102 idiling at Oxford street. in the "bottleneck"
2) exposure with a southbound autorack.
3) exposure with RTD light rail.

What is "exposure"? A tripod would have helped on a few of these.

The images are interesting in their own way but could you do it again? That is what photography is about.

There are some good sites on the internet to explain how this all works. Every time you open the shutter you get exposure.

Like fbe said, every photograph is an "exposure"; I think what you mean is "timed exposure", where the shutter is left open longer than usual, to gather enough light in low-light situations.
