Unpatched SP unit

I had no time for a picture and I wasn't exactly following every rule of the road on Monday but as I was driving by the UP yard downtown St. Louis I would have sworn I say the engineer side of an SP GE without the UP yellow number patch. No, I don't drink and drive. I had a two second glimpse so was that just wishful thinking?

You saw correctly, there are still a handful of unpatched SP units left. Not too many left so it's definitely an uncommon find.

i believe that one is SP 309. it has been in that area.
