Buffett on oil by rails and safety

Warren Buffett was asked yesterday about his views on oil transported by rail, and whether BNSF or Berkshire will buy more tank cars (BRK also owns an enormous lease fleet).

"(Safety) is all they're talking about (in the C-suites of railroads)"
"We're going to move a lot of crude in this country, and we have to learn how to do it safely"
No plans to buy any more tank cars in excess of what's on order

The BNSF comedy channel said yesterday they have 5,000 ordered.

AHH,

If I remember correctly Mssrs. Buffet and Ichan

own most of either Trinity and American railcar????

There in it to win it. hopefully we will see gas
being taknout of the Bakken rather than wasted by being burned off.

Icahn has a stake in American Railcar Industries, Buffet owns Union Tank Car.
