Author: misty1

Corp train went thru Columbia Falls about 10:30 this morning headed west. I have not gotten to Whitefish to see if it stopped thee so maybe someone else can spot it. Had 6 Cars and the 6889 on the point.

Dear BNSF,

Please bring back the F units for this train. It would be very classy.

You happen to know where they can find an A-B-B-A set of "Santa Fe" F's?

I think they need to reacquire a pair of the FP45's from the museums. Just as classy and much more doable.

I think there are enough F units around that could be purchased and rebuilt for the service, including addition of stainless sides. FP45's are fine, but just don't have the classic look of the Warbonnet F units with their stainless sides. Question is, would they end up having the Warbonned nose wrap with "BNSF" instead of Santa Fe? Anyway, I doubt if BNSF stockholders would approve of spending millions for such a project. Too bad. Now, if Warren Buffet wanted it to happen....then it would.

That special arrived Whitefish where the cars should be parked east of the depot in the biz car spur.

I think that some Fs would look pretty good in Orange Swoosh. Sort of reminiscent of the Rio Grande.

Does Warren own it or Berkshire Hathaway? Regardless, 100% Buffet control.
