Needles Sub Action - Grain Train at Cadiz
Author: syscom3

Here is an eastbound grain train passing through Cadiz. This was from Sunday a week ago. I posted some pictures of this earlier in the week.

One thing I liked about Cadiz is how quiet it is. Way far from the occasional noisy motorcycle on Rte66.

I like the placing of the map prior to the video. That's a nice touch. Good work!

Nice. 106 cars on the move. I like seeing the entire train.

I like seeing whole train too. I know from friends that have been out there that BNSF runs WB grain from the midwest to places in CA. Usually same type of newer 286k cars and they have had mid and rear end DPU. But this is EB, and cars def. sound loaded. Where would this train have originated and it's probable destination?

I cant think of any crops from the California central valley that would lend itself to transport in hopper cars. Nor can I think of anything like it that would come through the ports as an import.

Are you sure its loaded?
