Today was a warm humid day with a few sprinkles in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub at 83 degrees, rain missed us today. There was also a work window for work East of Ritzville today. There were no trains from before 9am to 113pm when two trains sneaked thru. Also mostly Orange last evening and today so far. Here are some of the trains that passed thru Ritzville, WA last evening and today.

1. EB 530pm stack train with BNSF 1123-7149-7883 on the point.

3. EB 550pm grain train with BNSF 7189-7917-7099 and company on the pull.

4. WB 627pm coal train with BNSF 5692-4827-6005 on the point with DPU.
5. WB 700pm grain with BNSF 5522 and warbonnet 736 on the pull with DPU.
6. EB 723pm manifest train with BNSF 8246-8244-5474 on the pull.

7. EB 753pm #28 Empire Builder with 15 on the point.
8. Another shot of #28 rolling thru Ritzville.
9. EB 113pm grain train with BNSF 7074-8233-5120 on the point with DPU.

10. EB 127pm oil train with BNSF 7650-6827 on the point, no DPU.
11. EB 349pm auto rack train with BNSF 5381 and warbonnet 4711 on the pull.

13. EB 501pm "Q" train with BNSF 6305, NS 2639, BNSF 1054, CP 8518, CN 2028 and BNSF 8252 on the strong pull.

The CN was brightly painted and very clean compared to the rest of the power.

Todays train 28 has 3 private cars on it.CJ
