A woman died late Wednesday night after a train struck a vehicle at a railroad crossing on Tehachapi Boulevard near Lehigh Cement. According to Lee Henning, senior special agent for Union Pacific Police department, the victim's car was stuck on the railroad crossing when the train struck her at approximately 9:40 p.m on July 23. The vehicle was a 2000 Toyota four-door car. The woman died from her injuries at the scene. Henning said the woman was outside of her vehicle when the train hit her.
