Western Railroad Discussion > Aerial Footage: BNSF Stockton Sub - WE Fig GardenDate: 07/26/14 01:19 Aerial Footage: BNSF Stockton Sub - WE Fig Garden Author: dlocher I happened to be out and about today, heading to a client. The Fig Garden Ave. grade crossing (Fresno, CA) is nice because of the train signals to the south, on my way over the tracks, I saw a green which meant I was pulling in to the parking lot past the tracks. Only had to wait about 5 minutes, more than enough time to set up.
I also filmed with my camcorder so I actually had audio this time. A little splicing and editing and I had an usable video. Shot at MP 1005-ish on the BNSF Stockton sub. The Fig Garden siding is to the south (end of video) a tad. David Locher Fresno, CA You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! You were obviously a fair height above the train. Does the train create much air turbulence above that would interfere with shooting? How much distance do you have to leave between your drone and the train if there is turbulence? Thanks in advance. Will MacKenzie Dundas, ON Date: 07/26/14 07:06 Re: Aerial Footage: BNSF Stockton Sub - WE Fig Garden Author: goneon66 great video of "the north bay." what is the set-up u use as I can see myself with one of these drones shooting vids on the Seligman sub........

Id rather catch the WB Z8 with straight North Bay after the Calwa setout. That's a shooter! Date: 07/26/14 17:30 Re: Aerial Footage: BNSF Stockton Sub - WE Fig Garden Author: sp5623 Your camera platform is remarkably stable. What kind of drone is it?
