Mad Dash to Copeville Texas
Author: KB5WK

I decided to brave the 102 F Degree heat and catch the KCS M-DASH (Dallas to Shreveport) manifest at Copeville siding on the KCS Greenville sub at 5:45 pm. KCS 4575 was the leader. This location is a good spot with decent light at the nose as this train heads east to Shreveport in the late afternoon due to the angle of the line does curve to the north making this location decent only in July and August. The light on the nose would be even better after 6 pm but I cant get the KCS to move back the departure time.

Very nice... what are those funky flat cars on the rear of the train?
