CP 298 and the CP 9108
Author: rrartist

Sunday dawned as clear as a bell but the clouds took over faster than ants on a sugar cube, so as they say, "when given lemons, make lemonade"! NS 6934 leads a Bakken oil empty into La Crosse early Sunday morning while the BNSF 226 and company make up the H-LAWNTW. Now it was time to seek out the CP 9108 on CP 298. I found the train near Homer MN in a small sucker hole, that SD90 sure had a nice sound to it!

As one can see the brush and trees have really made a come back along the main at Donehower MN as the 9108 threads it's way past. Dresbach MN brought the winds and the clouds as the train passed through town and lastly a glimmer of sun as the 9108 rumbled off the Black River bridge and into La Crosse (WI).

Reduce operating ratio by not spraying weeds.
