Another Sizzler Today with Work Window on BNSF
Author: Ritzville

Another sizzler today in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub at 99 degrees. There will be work windows almost every weekday until the end of summer with all the construction that has gone on the Lakeside Sub. Here are a few of the trains I've managed to shoot from last evening thru today so far.

1. WB 627pm grain train with BNSF 5488-1017 and warbonnet 925 on the point with DPU.
2. Meet warbonnet 925.
3. Older hopper with writing rolling in same train.

6. Another shot of same train.

Caught 748 and 756 in Bakersfield 4 days ago. They've been on the move.

Maybe they will make it to Chicago and back to Bakersfield and beyond, they sure get around. They were both clean looking for warbonnets, which is always enjoyable to see in these days of so many faded bonnets.

They should be in Whitefish or just East of town now. Big fleet of trains were tied down in Whitefish and a fee between Whitefish and Spokane for a window. 756 had good AC.

Good to hear 756's AC is working well in this heat wave. Sounds like a multitude of WB movements on the horizon. Thanks for the info. Stay cool!
