7. A weed-covered Aspen branch.
8. A pavement-covered Aspen branch (Rio Grande bike trail)
9. More of the branch is visible where it crosses this street, including the crossing signal.

thanks for the pics. I lived near there,and never investigated the area you did.lots of history there.

Yup. Even on the paved-over areas of the bike trail, there are old RR mile markers still standing. Plus a 100+ year old hotel. Great town, too. Great food, fun rafting.

Nice catch with one of the new Amtrak electric motors in the consist in the photo with #6 pulling in to the depot.
